K.P. Palkin Restaurant

Located in an apartment house that belonged to the merchant K.P. Palkin.The central part of the building contains
a restaurant visited by Bunin, Kuprin and Dostoyevsky. After the revolution  the restaurant was converted into the
Titan cinema,and today the well-known Premier casino operates there. The present-day restaurant occupies what was
the owner's offices. Old Russian merchant-style cuisine, the menu includes lamb on the bone, sterlet, Russian sausage,
roulades, pickles and jams made on the premises. Large wine menu. A meal costs at least 80 euros, so the customers
are mainly Russian and foreign businesspeople. The restaurant has a permanent display of works by painters and sculptors for sale.

Le Paris Gourmet restaurant

The head chef is Henri Charvet, a maitre of French cuisine. Specialities - foisgras and duck dishes. Wine-
tastings in the wine cellar. Fine interiors with a working fireplace. French music, live guitar music in the
evenings. A French tricolour flag marks the entrance. A real piece of French territory in the centre
of St Petersburg. Most of the ingredients are imported from France.
